Movin' on up

I've been getting a lot of pretty good feedback about this latest storyline, which is great. Some people in the forum have even taken to trying to decide the most appropriate fashion for Christian to die a horrible, horrible death. Also very entertaining.

First big announcement of the day is that Ctrl+Alt+Del is finally moving to it's own dedicated server with a new host. What this hopefully means is that the constant slow-down that everyone has been experiencing with the site and forums will be eradicated. This is going to cost me more money, but I'm fairly confidant I can keep up with it. And it will provide an overall better experience for all of you.

I hope to have the actual move take place sometime next week. I will let you know. For those of you unfamiliar with how the internet works, there is going to be a couple of days of limbo while the domain name (www.ctrlaltdel-online.com) switches over to point to the new server. This means that for a few days, some of you will be viewing the old site, and some of you will be viewing the new site. I will be updating both servers simultaneously for a few days, while this happens.

I'll be sure to post (old server, new server) in the news, so you'll know when you've swapped over.

Again, I will give you another heads up as to when this will actually happen, and if all goes well, no one will miss a beat, but I just wanted to give you a heads up to expect it in the near future.

Also, an addition to the list of cons I'll be attending. I will also be at DexCon 7 in New Jersey this summer. It actually falls on the exact same weekend as ConnectiCon, which I am also attending. The plan is for me to attend Dexcon for the first couple of days (wed and thurs I think), and then continue north and spend the weekend in ConnectiCut for ConnectiCon.

There is also a possibility that I will be a guest at Dragon*Con down south in Georgia this September, which will be a first for me. I've never attended a convention that far south, so it would be great to meet some fans from down that way. I'll let you know how this pans out.

Comic is up. Sorry it's late. My brain was too fried last night from lack of sleep.
