I'm not the man they think I am at home

Oh no no no I'm a rocket man.

What the heck is this crap? European exclusive? Since when does Europe deserve anything exclusive? Everyone knows America is the only real country.

I jest, I jest. Ease those indignant little fingers off the email "send" button.

...

The last thing anyone stateside wants is another boring, cookie-cutter Korean leveling treadmill MMO, pretty as they may be. You can keep 'em.

Seriously, every time I see a new Lineage 2 update, the graphics get me. I start to think "Well maybe..." and that's as far as I get before I remember how two-dimensional that game was.

I picked up the first season of The Tick on DVD. I watched it when it first aired, so all the episodes are familiar, but there's still some great humor there. Ahh, the days back before every cartoon had to look like some extreme bastardized version of shitty anime. The nostalgia just washes over me.

So my first-generation 360 finally crapped out. I guess it was inevitable; those first batches had a lot of acknowledged problems. Went to fire it up the other day and it froze, soon followed by the "three red lights" plague. Love technology. I picked up a new one today (and ponied up for the replacement plan just in case, which I never do). Hopefully this one will last longer than a year, eh?

Gotta enjoy me some Lego Star Wars this weekend.

A lot of people are expecting Nintendo to finally cough up an official release date for their little magic box at their press events this week. Would be nice to know when to expect it. And more importantly, when to expect preorders to open.

If you missed it, the transcript for that Xfire chat I did last week is here.

It's starting to get chilly here. That means fall, and fall means... more digital entertainment than I can shake a remote at. Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Dark Messiah, Battlefield 2142 to name a few, and to speak nothing of network joys such as Lost, Battlstar Galactica and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.

When I rule the world I am going to demand that cool shit be spaced out more evenly over the course of the year.
