We've opened up tournament pre-registration for Digital Overload 2007. If you've registered and paid for your badge, you can now log into your account and sign up for the tournaments you'd like to participate in.
For the team tournament games, you can each sign up with the name of your team (please use the same spelling), and you'll be matched up at the event. If you don't have a team, but still want to participate in a team game, you can sign up as an individual in need of a team, and we'll assign you a team for the tournament.
Note: We have a subforum in the Digital Overload forums for finding teammates prior to the event, if you'd like to organize a team and practice beforehand.
This is one of the features we were really looking forward to for DO2007. This way we'll be able to get an idea of how many people are participating in each tournament, and use that information to assist with scheduling and organization.
Additionally, I'm working on more specific details for each of the tournaments, such as rules and prizes, which will be posted shortly.
The other order of business for Digital Overload today is the mandatory event waiver. This must be signed by everyone attending Digital Overload, no exceptions. If you can print out the waiver, sign it and bring it with you to the event, it will help speed up check-in on the first day.
If you are under 18 and attending Digital Overload, you must print the waiver out prior to the event, have your parent/guardian sign it, and bring it with you to the event or you will not be allowed into the convention hall.
