Or Movember, if you prefer.
This year I decided to join the cause by making a donation to the PCF, and putting down my razor for the entire month of November.
On top of being for a good cause, this is also a bit of a personal challenge for myself, as I've never been much of a facial hair kind of guy. All I typically get is scruff, and even letting that grow out drives me up the wall. In fact, prior to this month my record will have been eight days without shaving before I caved.
Even if you're not participating, you can still throw a donation towards the cause, or even just mark your calendar to grow out your chin sweater next November.
In other news, an update to the Official Ctrl+Alt+Del iPhone app is now available, so make sure you grab your phone and download it!
About CAD Mobile

Thanks to Apple crazy fast approval speed (*cough*10 days*cough*), an update for CAD Mobile is now available in the App Store.
Outside of the usual "bug fixes and optimization" stuff nobody ever reads, version 1.0.2 has one important change. When reading purchased content, your location will now be saved so when you come back, you won't have to swipe 500 times to go back to where you were. That was (outside of an Android version), one of the most requested feature and to be honest, something that should have been there to start with.
If you want to get the full change list, grab the update or get the app for the first time, just head to the app page.
If you need help with CAD Mobile, we have an awesome support page available.
For those wondering, we're currently working on porting the application to other devices. I'd like to take a moment and thank Lisa and the team at Palm for their awesome help and support. After going thru Apple's "our way or the highway (and we don't care what you think)" structure, it was a real pleasure to work with such an awesome group of folks. There's going to be a CAD Mobile for Palm devices very shortly. An Android version should be coming soon after that.
If you work at RIM or Microsoft and want to be as awesome as Palm is, please email me at email@example.com. We'd love to get CAD Mobile running on your smartphones as well.
As always, if you want to get in touch with me or see what other crazy projects I'm working on, you can find me on twitter as @fuitad.

CAD Mobile bug on iPod touch devices
Friday, November 12, 2010 | 12:27 AM | by
If you're using CAD Mobile on an iPod touch (any generation), please do not update to version 1.0.2. A very odd bug, affecting only iPods, slipped thru our internal testing and Apple's 10 day review process. Updating to 1.0.2 will render the app unusable as the only thing you'll see if a beautiful black screen.
We've already summited a fix to the app store (1.0.3) and we're requested an expedited review from Apple. I have no idea how serious these requests are taken but since it's an option on their "contact us" form, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
I will make a newspost as soon as 1.0.3 is available for download.
This bug does not affect iPhone and iPad users so if you use CAD Mobile on either of those, update away!
